Janice Patricia Keisler passed away at the wonderful age of 93. Shae Passed peacefully in her sleep after a long decline in health. She was surrounded by her loving family and wonderful care providers. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Harold Keisler. She is survived by three sons, Eric Keisler, Jon Keisler, Mier Keisler, their wives and families.
Janice was born on February 22, 1930 in Los Angeles California to George and Gertrude Klawitter. She was a long time resident of Fresno. She was an educator for most of her adult life teaching for Fresno Unified School District. Janice taught at McLane high school and was their swimming and diving coach for many years.
Janice earned her Associates Degree and Bachelor's Degree from Los Angeles City and State colleges. She later earned her Master's Degree from Fresno State.
Janice will be sorely missed by her family and acquaintances. She leaves behind wonderful memories of gentle kindness, intelligence, love of family, love for the outdoors and steadfast dependability.
