“JACKIE”

1934 – 2014

Jackie Phillips was born on October 3, 1934 in Fresno, CA. She passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

Jackie graduated from Fresno High School and went to work for the telephone company and later married Don Phillips. She worked there for several years and then became a stay at home mom. As her children got older, she went to work for Fresno Unified School District. She retired after many years as an Office Manager.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Reinhardt and Arvegine Simmons and her beloved husband Don Phillips.

Jackie is survived by her son Michael Phillips and his wife Theo and her daughter Renee Tindall; grandchildren Terin Meade, Janell Christansen, Melanie Phillips, Nolan Phillips, Donnie Tindall and Michelle Tindall; and 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
