Irene was born and raised in Fresno. She graduated from Edison High School in 1941. She was the youngest of seven children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry. They were married 50 Years.
She leaves behind her daughter Sandra Grey and husband Stephen, son James Ulrich and wife Carol. Grandchildren; Laura, Stephanie, Carlie, Cynda and Nikki. Great grandchildren: Cody, Rhiannon and Trystan.
Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m.
