2018 at St. Agnes Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 94.
Irene was born August 9, 1924, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Charles and Anna Kraus, and was the
youngest of five daughters. She married Richard T. Danks, on September 6, 1947.
Irene was proud of her ten children: David Danks, Mary Danks, Eileen Lawrence, Dan Danks, Martha
Danks-Ferguson, John Danks; Jo Hall, Kate Danks, Patricia Danks Icopini, and Jane Danks; 29
grandchilden, and seven great-grandchildren.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Wednesday,
November 14, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow
at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery.
