Guadalupe Valle, or Lupe as everyone knew her, was a small yet mighty woman. Lupe was born on December 12, 1952 in Los Quiotes in Guanajuato, Mexico to Andres and Guadalupe Alvarez in what would eventually be a large and close family. Lupe, a woman of strong faith in the Roman Catholic Church, prided her namesake in that she was born on the Feast Day of Our lady of Guadalupe. Lupe was the third of eight sisters and three brothers, all of whom had their own unique talents and skills.
Lupe was an avid cook and a complete magician in the kitchen as anyone fortunate to taste her food would know. Aside from her culinary skills, Lupe was ultimately a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her six beautiful grandchildren. Lupe had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. Dancing was a passion of Lupe’s and would happily participate whenever music would come on. If Selena was playing, Lupe would certainly be somewhere moving to the rhythm.
Lupe was a pillar of hope, love, and support to all she came in contact with. Her loyalty to her children never wavered and she loved all she could bear, even in a tiny frame. You will be missed more than you know by every person you ever touched. May all those who preceded you in passing be waiting to greet you so you can keep dancing in heaven.
Guadalupe Valle is preceded in death by her parents Andres Alvarez (1979) and Guadalupe Alvarez (2004).
Guadalupe Valle is survived by her husband, Alfonso Valle (Al); her daughter, Stephanie Hernandez; her son Ryan Valle; her grandchildren, Kennadi Cruz, Samuel Hernandez (Sammy), Sophia Hernandez, Penelope Valle, Ryan Valle Jr., and Bennett Valle.
Guadalupe Valle is also survived by her sisters; Virginia Castellon(Nene), Matilda Garcia(Tita), Amparo Garza(Perico), Mary Dela Torre(Lollie), Margarita Bourzac(Margie), Christina Gurrola, and Anna Robles; her brothers Andres Alvarez(Andy), Cesar Alvarez, Alvaro Alvarez(Joey); and many, many loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and brothers and sisters in law.
May You Rest in Eternal Peace, Lupe.
