St. Agnes Medical Center.
She retired from SCCCD after 20 years in the accounting department. She was a lifelong member of
The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Toon of nearly 50 years.
She is survived by her son Steven and his wife Jane and their son Neil; and
many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 9, 2014,
from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church on Wednesday,
September 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The Shrine of Saint Therese Catholic Church
or the charity of choice.
