Gerardo G. Garza

He served in the US Army for 4 years, where he toured in France and Germany. Soon after his service, he returned to marry Linda Martinez from Sanger, Ca in 1968 and together they had three children: Gerardo G. Garza Jr., Elizenda Garza, and Miroslava Garza.

Grandchildren: Marissa Marie Garza, Katelyn Janae Raney, Makenna Breann Raney, Brennan Michael Raney, Hannah Raney, Thylia Marie Parker, and Jesse Nathaniel Barajas.

Great-grandchild: Malaya Lynn Samaniego

Gerardo and the Garza family ties are in Sanger and Fresno, Ca. He worked for 30 years at PPG Industries and retired to enjoy what he valued most: his family and friends. Gerardo was a most loving father, grandpa, tio, brother, cousin and friend. He is most remembered for his kind words, soft spoken voice, his infectious humor, always making one laugh, a jokester, a patient man, and his bright smile that lite up the room each time he walked in.

Gerardo is survived by his siblings: Mirthala Lopez, Adalia Carrillo, Diamantina Maldonado, Cristina Herrada, Martha Galván, Mike Garza, and Alexandra Carrillo.

Gerardo was preceded in death by: Father - Pablo Flores Garza, Mother - Pura Gallegos Garza, Brother - Raul Garza, Brother - Jose Pablito Garza, Sister - Maria Cristina Garza.
