George David Rodriguez

George attended Roosevelt High School and graduated in 1957. Shortly after graduation George met Barbara Jean McMurtry. Barbara was the love of his life. They were married in 1959.

George worked for San Joaquin Supply for 42 years, as a Credit Manager. After retirement George joined the SIRS and enjoyed many years of golf and dinners with his SIRS friends.

George adored his wife Barbara, and their children David and Patrice.

He also loved the 49ers and playing golf. After a round of golf he enjoyed a beer with a cigar. George loved to spend time with his many uncles and aunts and cousins. George’s life was never the same after Barbara’s passing in 2015

George is survived by his 2 children. Patrice Araiza and her husband Rick and David Rodriguez and his wife Dalinda.

His 2 brothers Raoul Rodriguez and Danny Rodriguez and his wife Sandy

The family would like to thank all the medical personnel that cared for George, especially, the doctors and nurses at Kaiser Permanente and to George’s lifelong friend Marshal Torigian and his wife Helen.

A celebration of George’s life will be held on Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 am, at 942 S. Park Circle Drive, Fresno, Ca.
