dejaste un dolor profundo cuando te fuiste. Siempre pensamos que tenemos otro dia, mas tiempo para estar con nuestros seres queridos y se nos olvida que el tiempo pasa y no espera a nadie. 
To y yo tuvimos una relacion especial. Me acuerdo mucho cuando era una nina chiquita y como me cuidabas y me diste tanto cariño. Fuiste duro pero a la misma vez nos diste todo el amor que un buen padre le puede dar a sus hijos. Nos dejaste tantos recuerdos y lecciones para vivir una vida buena y honesta.

When I wrote you yesterday I wanted to also let you know that I'm grateful that Rosa, Juan and Chayo were there with my brother. While I would have liked for all of us to get together under different circumstances, it was comforting to have your family there with mine to share this time in our lives. I love you Dad

I love you! Its been more than 5 years since I visited your home...I haven't gotten the courage to walk in the front door and not see you there at the table sipping on a cup of coffee. I never meant to stay away so long, especially from Rosa. It seems that as more time goes by it just gets harder. My heart tells me it isn't okay but I know its something that I need to deal with. I'm trying Dad. I know you wouldn't want this and I promise you that I will do what I can to fix it. I wanted to share that with you because it does bother me. I love you Dad....

I had a hard and emotional day yesterday. I missed you so very much! I guess I need you by my side to comfort me?  I was feeling down and had rough emotional day. You were and still are my comfort, my strength, my rock!  When I needed someone to talk to you were there for me no matter what the issue could be. I miss you giving me such wonderful advice even it was something so simple. We shared tears of sadness, tears of joy together. I miss seeing you tiny little eyes, but I look into Agelina's eyes because she has your same exact eyes.  A cada rato le digo abre esos ojos and she would just laugh and try to open. You were my first thought this morning when I woke up at 4:00. I thought about the days before you left us and how sick you were. My last conversation with you was the evening before your passing. You looked so frail,so sad. I didnt want to leave the hospital because I didnt know if I was going to see you again. When I got the call from my sister early that morning I knew the end was near. I will never forget that day, life as I knew it would forever change for me. You were a great father to us and you left us wonderful childhood memories. I wish you would have not left us but I know that you were tired and that you needed to rest. All your life you worked hard and struggled to give us the best life that you could. I have fond memories of Sunday outings when you would take us to soccer games, to eat chinese food, the movies, to eat ice cream at Mello's and hamburgers at Kearney Drive in. Memories of me and you laying on the livingroom floor watching Bonanza or Rawhide, you loved westerns, of you taking us to the lake for picnics while you fished. So many memories, Dad. Today, I honor your memory by asking God to give you eternal peace and asking him to give us all strength to carry on without you and to live our lives as you would have wanted us to instilling the traditions that you taught us in our children and their families. I will love and miss you forever Dad and ask that you continue to watch over us and send us your blessings from heaven.

Just wanted to let you know that I thought about you last night when Felix and I went to see Trio Los Panchos. They sang a song that I rememeber you telling me that you liked. It was the song, "Sin Ti" and it always reminds me of you and Mom. Now when I hear it I think about how hard its been to live without both of you. The songs they sang brought back so many good memories of when we were kids and we would hear you and Mom play those songs. I have so many great memories of you when we were little and the places you took us and the things you did with us. You were a very good father and you taught us so many things that we have to be grateful for. I miss you so much Dad but I know you're in a better place.

This past week was very hard remembering that it marked the first anniversary of your passing. Although I try to believe that you leaving us was a blessing because you needed to rest,it doesnt take the pain away. We miss you so much. Today I thought of you all day long. From my earliest memories to my last one of you. I still remember you cooking, hugs when I slept beside you , your jokes, and even your cologne. Our horses, our fishing trips, and even the stop for a bag of hamburgers on our way back home from fishing. I don't know where time went by so fast. Your blood runs through my veins just as they did when you were here. I guess in that way you are still with me. I focus on the love and memories, and wish you to a Happy Fathers Day.

Pops,                             Father's day will be here tomorrow,I looked forward to call you and wish you a Happy Father's day but that's not possible. This will be our 1st Father's day that you wont be with us.I will only be able to say it to you in church tomorrow with my heavy heart that will forever continue.I look at your pictures and wonder how you could of been taken from us?I know you were tired and you decided to be free of all the pain.When I see your face and I always smile with tears because i miss you so very much.I think of my last time i spent with you by your side in the hospital and although you had people around you i felt like i had to be there to see you and all my memories of you and me meant the world to me.I will never forget the last thing you told me,remember? I went in to see you in the E.R. a few days before and you were just kept trying to find your place on that bed in the E.R. room and i asked how you if your feeling ok, and for a split second you looked at me as if to say no but you just said yes and told me,"como eres fayo"I smiled and said,"well i get it from you" and you said, pues si? I never thought that would be that last thing i'd hear from you.My last day i spent with you by your side in the hospital even through i thought you couldn't hear me, i asked you to open your eyes Dad, maybe for a split second to see that i was there and just couldn't find the words  say the words again "good-bye" to my other parent.I know that every day that goes by, you and Mom will always be in it.I know losing both of you within a year's time was such a hard thing to deal with.I want you to know that as FATHER'S DAY come and go, you will always be missed so much. I hope you have a great day Father's day in heaven im sure you'll spend it fishing or just enjoying it by relaxing watching soccer.Pops, miss you con todo mi corazon para siempre, tu hijo Alejando.

This will be the first Father's Day that you won't be here for me to call you on Sunday morning.....I still can't believe that you're gone too. I miss you so much, Dad.
The last time we talked you told me that you wanted me to get my life in order and to settle down and be happy. I didnt think that would be the last conversation we had, but it was. I want you to know that I took that conversation very seriously and have made many changes in my life, changes that I know would have made you happy and I wish you were still here so you could see that I'm finally happy. Remember when you used to ask me if I had a husband because I was always alone? Well, you don't have to worry anymore Dad. I have someone who takes good care of me,someone who is always with me and who loved you as much as I did. The sad thing is that we won't see you tomorrow on Father's Day. We won't be able to go visit with you and share memories and stories of all the good times we spent with you. We, your children were so blessed to have you as our Father. You taught us so many things Dad but two of the most important things were the meaning of family and respect for others. You worked hard all your life and you taught us that all things in life were possible if we worked hard to achieve our goals. Thank you Daddy, for everything you gave us, for all the sacrifices you made for us. I find great comfort knowing that you and Mom are together again and I know you're both happy. We will love and miss you both forever.

Hi pops, The holidays are here and your elsewhere in heaven.I think about you everyday and wonder how you are.I know you are resting and where you always wanted to be with the woman who completed your soul... and that is with Mom  I seen that as i get older and it showed in your eyes that missed Mom.The holidays are tough for all of us cause we miss you both so much...I know that you and Mom are watching over us everyday and have been in the dreams of some of us and Im waiting for that special moment when you are in a dream of mine...cause i think alot about the both of you.I know Dad i haven't been at your resting place since I said my goodbye's to you , but I did the same with Mom and although that may not be an excuse , for me it just makes it a reality for me to know that you are not coming back so that is my only place to visit and shead my tears for my parents.I used to think when I younger I always wanted to  be the youngest of a family with both parents together not apart.I'd ask Mom why you left, was it me? but she always spoke well of you Dad never did she once say anything bad.I wish that i got  that time like my older brothers and sister to go to church, see you when i got home to share my day but i know that wasn't possible. I am so thankful to call you my Dad and that I have great memories with you.With a heavy heart and as old as i am now, im trying to mend the sadness of missing both of my parents everyday.Papa, I hope that your smiling down on us and that you are happy in heaven and that you never forget how much we love the both of you....con todo mi corazon apa, que tienes un feliz navidad pops.Tu hijo.

   At Peace. Grandpa that is how I feel about you going home. At peace knowing that you are no longer suffering here on Earth. That even though you are no longer physically here, that you live forever in the hearts and memories of your sons, daughters, and all your grandchildren and whomever else had the privilege to know you. Grandpa, you were a good man and a loving father. Although I honestly didn't spend as much time with you as I should have, I am thankful for the times we did share. And not only the time you and I shared, but the time you spent with my wife and kids. As a kid I remember the trips to the Kings River and Avocado lake in the old station wagon. Or just hangin out at your house watching Siempre en Domingo on Sunday nights. Grandpa what you leave me with is a deep appreciation and understanding of family and the value of respect. Not just respect of my elders and others but respect for myself. Also, to have a sense of humor about life. To not take things so seriously, all the time. A trait I'm still learning grandpa. Grandpa, with your strength and pride you did all you could to raise TWO families. You did what you could to make us understand in the end we were all ONE family. I hope grandpa that from heaven you pass that knowledge to my elders, my generation, and the future generations, that we are all indeed ONE family, blessed to have all come from a loving, caring, and proud man.

What a gift the Lord gave Mark and I that Saturday night we saw you. Even though you were in pain you still welcomed us with open arms and took the time to show us your love and sense of humor. I will miss the winks and smirks you would give me every time you would see me.I loved it!! Mark loves you to the moon and back. Through him and your Great-Grandson Marcus your legacy lives on. I love to hear Mark tell me all the stories and memories of fishing and you watching him, Juan, and Frankie playing soccer.So for now I will say the last words you told your Great-Grandson Marcus, "I'll see you later, God be with you."

It's been a week since you left us today. I knew you were tired and that you knew your time to leave us was near. I find comfort in knowing that you're not in pain , that you can smile once again and be happy. I can't express the pain I feel Dad, to know that both you and Mom are gone. You were both good parents. Thank you for all your hard work to give us a better life and for teaching us the importance of having family values. I hope I made you proud to know that I instilled those same values in my children. You always were a generous man and enjoyed having friends and family over whether it was to eat or just visit and poke fun at each other. You had a great sense of humor and always made us laugh. I will miss our special relationship Dad and the way you used to ask God to bless us all whenever we left you. Continue to watch over us Dad and give us strength to move forward. Today is a week that you had gotten released from the hospital. God wanted you to be home for one last time so you could be around us one last time! I pray to God that you are at piece now! I love you so much DADDY! You may not be here physically, but you will always live in my HEART FOREVER! One thing I can tell you dad, is that you were the most wonderful person a daughter or a son could have ever had! That Wednesday when you were admitted to the hospital our rocky road began! You were not feeling good but your humor was still there with all of us who were there with you! You sang to your two younger granddaughter. You called then "YOUR CHULADAS!" Angelina still sings your song! You will always live in my children's hearts and juju's & jeyo's heart like you use to call him! You didn't have the opportunity to see your other two grandbabies that were on there way in a couple of months.... you will not hold them like you did mine and how you did juan's little girl and Brenda's little boy.... But one thing I am going to tell you is that we will tell them what a wonderful FATHER & GRANDFATHER you were with all of us. But I know that from heaven you will be seeing them as they grow and you will be blessing them just like you did to us! DADDY?    Cuidate mucho y descansa en Paz Que nosotros estaremos bien.... Remember when I told you your time would come when God had your ticket ready? Well, God felt it was time for you to come home now. He knew you were suffering and unhappy because you could not do all the things you enjoyed doing on your own. He knew you were a proud man and your quality of life was no longer as it was once before. He also knew you were tired of being in pain and unhappy because you just could not do all the things that made you happy. Dad it's okay. You go home now where you will be once again like you once were and do all things you enjoyed doing without feeling any pain and where you will no longer suffer. We will all miss you and always remember your smile and your sense of humor and, all the hard work to provide for us and most of all the love you had for us. I love you Dad and tell Mom we miss her to.

May you rest in peace knowing your family loved you with all their hearts. I know you were so tired.
Thank you for waiting till I got home to see you. Many think what we experienced was hard. Yes, it was, but I chose to see it as a gift.
You were their when I took my first breaths of life, and I was their when you took your last. Knowing you didn't suffer brings me great peace. I will miss you dad, and will remember your humor, love of music, and most of your love of your children.
