Eva Ilene Gerjets, age 75, of Fresno, California passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. Eva was born to Oscar and Opal Stidham, on September 2, 1946 in Biola, California. There was a total of five brothers and four sisters. All she ever wanted was to be a mom. A dream that began soon after meetJerry Gould. In 1969 they added a daughter, Shawnda to their small family. Then in 1971 they added a son, Darren. Their little family was complete. She was a very loving and devoted to her little family. The only thing she loved more than her daughter, were her grandsons, Darian and Jayden Gould. She is in every thought and memory. To the loss of her is profound and forever. The family would like to thank everyone involved in the attempt to save her. Everyone involved went above and beyond what we expected. She is survived by her daughter, Shawnda Gould, grandsons, Darian and Jayden Gould, brothers, Gene and his wife Beth Stidham, Ivan Stidham, sister, Sharon and her husband Doug Fraley, sister, Debra Stone and sister-in-laws, Barbara and Jeri Stidham. Eva is preceded in death by her son, Darren Gould, mom and dad, Oscar and Opal Stidham brothers, Floyd, Sam, Bill, sister, Kathy Kennedy, husband, Garry Gerjets and Jerry Gould.
A visitation for Eva will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Lisle Funeral Home, 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 am.
Eva will be laid to rest in Fresno Memorial Gardens.
