Many may know Eusebio as Joe and Papa Bear. Joe loved raising and spending time with his children, grandchildren, being on the road as a truck driver, washing his truck on the weekends, traveling, attending family gatherings, dancing and socializing with friends, and watching movies and shows. He never missed the opportunity to watch his favorite sports teams: Rams and Dodgers. One of Joe's passions was traveling. He enjoyed being on the road sharing the beauty he came across with his family and friends by sharing photos of the scenic routes on Facebook for all to see. Joe took pride working 26 years at C&A Trucking and enjoyed his passion for 47 total years of truck driving, sharing stories on the road with his work family daily.
Joe is survived by his spouse, Maria Lilia Martinez; his daughter Victoria Vanessa Martinez; his son Eusebio Jose Martinez III; his daughter Elizabeth Nunez (Victor); his son Anthony Martinez (Diana); his son Matthew Martinez (Daisy); and his son Michael Martinez; his mother Estela Martinez (Ray Quintero); his sister Esther Criado, his brother Eliseo Martinez (Miriam), his brother Eloy Martinez and his brother Estevan Martinez (Mae); his grandchild Edy, his grandchild Khole, his grandchild Mila and his grandchild Marcus.
Eusebio was preceded in death by his son Robert Jeffery Martinez, his father Eusebio Jose Martinez Sr.
A visitation for Eusebio will be held Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a recitation of the holy rosary to follow from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 93706. A mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, November 27, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM at St Patrick's Church, 15437 W Kearney Blvd, Kerman, CA 93630. A committal service will immediately follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
