Elsa Avila Dominguez was born in Fresno, CA on August 6, 1951 to Armando and Angela Avila. She went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2021. Elsa grew up in El Paso, Texas but lived in Fresno, CA most of her life. Elsa retired after 42 years of employment with the federal government (Internal Revenue Service and Social Security Administration). She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel to her timeshares in Capistrano Beach, CA and Las Vegas, NV. Elsa was a very giving person and devoted her time by volunteering at Sacred Heart Church and Clovis Community Hospital. She enjoyed watching football and her favorite team was the Denver Broncos. Elsa loved all of her nieces and nephews as if they were her children. She is preceded in death by her father Armando Avila, mother Angela Avila, and brother Gabino Avila. She is survived by her sisters Gloria Avila, Virginia Lopez, Olga Avila, Linda Garcia and brother Armando Avila Jr.

A rosary for Elsa will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard ave, Clovis, CA 93612, followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 am. Elsa will be laid to rest in Fresno Memorial Gardens.
