Douglas Van Tassel

He worked at the IRS. He rode motorcycles his entire life and collected classic and vintage motorcycles.

Douglas road raced motorcycles at tracks all over California and also raced at the 1965 Daytona Speedway in the amateur race. He went on vacations on his motorcycle everywhere. He owned many sports cars; one was a Ferrari 308.

He is survived by his brother Marshall, cousins Neil Olsen, Carol Riles, all three from Fresno and Susanne Price of Colorado and their families and many motorcycle friends.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 W Belmont Ave, Fresno, CA.
