Douglas Murry Tatum

Douglas "Doug" Murry Tatum, 87 of Fresno, California,passed away on January 5, 2023.

Doug was born, February 6, 1953 to Donelly Tatum and Eleanor in Reedley, California.

Doug is survived by his wife Cecilia Navarro Tatum, nephew Matthew Parlier his Wife Rae;

children: Ursa (spouse Jay) Shaw and children, Karl Parlier, ann Karmen Parlier (spouse, Adam)

Vilander from Oregon; nieces Viriginia and Holly and nephew John Ryder from Pismo,California;

cousins: Kay (spouse Don) Elmer of Washington State, Dennis (spouse Joanne, daughter Jane)

Tatum of Dinuba, California, Janet (spouse Jerry, children Phillip, Christy, Greg, and Jerry Jr.)

Chastain from Texas, Patricia (spouse Kenny, children Jeremy, Chad and Travis) Johnson from

Reedley, California and cousin Norman (wife Marilyn and children) Tauchen from Woody, California.

Doug also left behind many other family members: Sisters in law, Ligaya, Medita, Zenaida,

Doris Navarro, and their families.

Fortunately, Athena N. Perez ( daughter of Ligaya and Myla N. Morelos (daughter of Medita)

from Los Angeles, are able to come. Milagros Garcia, Jet Jepsen and family,

Marilen Felton and family, Victor N. Quintos and family, Felix Quintos, Ellie Monzon,

Virginiaq Abalos, Elsa Abalos (spouse Gilbert) Sanchez, Nena Partain

(son Garrette, fiance Deryl Bear), and Victor Abalos and many other

family members in the Philippines and Canada and other parts of the world.

Doug enjoyed singing, watching movies and current news. He would also cook, too, used to

ride his motorcycle a lot, and taking a walk with our dogs. Everyone who knew him will

always remember him for his generosity and helping others. Our family is grateful to know

that Doug is finally at peace.

A Visitation will occur Friday, January 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 2838 N. West Ave.,

Fresno, CA. 93705. followed by A Rosary Service for Douglas will be held Friday, January 20, 2023

from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 2838 N. West Ave., Fresno, CA 93705.

A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM,

Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 2838 N. West Ave., Fresno, CA 93705.
