We sadly said goodbye to our loving mother, Dottie Evans on January 24, 2021. She was born in 1927, the third of nine children to Luther and Luna Shelton in Corpus Christie, Texas. Her family migrated to Reedley, CA in 1937.
She married the love of her life, Dow, on July 29, 1949 and they were together until his passing on May 20, 2009. She was the ultimate homemaker and a gifted seamstress creating beautiful clothing, formals and wedding gowns. She traveled throughout the United States with her husband and often with her grandchildren, making many lifelong friends along the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and seven siblings. She is survived by her devoted children, Bruce Evans, Carolyn Ciccarelli and her husband Steve; beloved grandchildren Stephanie, David and his wife Crystal; great-grandson Noah; one brother and many nieces and nephews.
