Dad....it's been a year and you are missed every day. You'd be so proud of all the kids. I love you.

Please accept our condolences. I still remember the day, when I was in high school with Don, Jr. in the late 70's, seeing his integrity on full display.

My wife and I are truly sadden to hear of Don's passing. As many others have stated, he was a true gentleman! I will miss his phone calls wishing us the best on special occasions. It wasn't until I realized I had not heard from him that I started my search. May you rest in peace. Brant & September Dunn

Don was a Marines Marine. We had some great times at the HMM263 squadron reunions. He'll truly be missed.

To the Soper family - I always enjoyed your dad at the Edison baseball games.  He was a true fan to his grandsons.  I enjoyed talking to him about his Marine service to our country.  He was a great American.

Our family's thoughts and prayers to the Soper family during your loss. Mr. Soper was a good man who's presence was always special. The World along with the Edison High School Athletics lost a great Booster who cared and rooted compassionately for Tigers sports. I will miss his warm spirited welcomes whenever I would see him and his strong spirited faithfulness to root for the Tigers!

It was an honor to have served with Don in HMM-263. He was an outstanding marine. He will be greatly missed by all.

We were so sad to read of Don's passing.  Every time we drive our 2 cars we think of how easy Don made the purchase transactions.  We always enjoyed his telephone calls on birthdays and anniversaries.  He was a true gentleman and we often say that he was the nicest man we have ever known.  He will be dearly missed.

While our dealings with Don and Amelia were infrequent, after the first time buying a car from them, we felt very at ease.  Much to our surprise we received a phone call on our birthdays and anniversary the first year we bought a car and every year thereafter.
