Donald Conrad Scheidt

Don was born in Fresno, California on March 12, 1929, to Conrad and Amelia Scheidt. He graduated from Fresno High School in 1947, where he was a standout athlete in football. He began his career in the insurance industry where he worked for over forty years.

Don enjoyed playing golf at Sunnyside Country Club where he was a member for 35 years. However, the outdoors was his paradise and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Don was a loving husband and family man and will be greatly missed.

Don is survived by his wife, Kathy, daughters, Karen Wamshuis and her husband, Patrick, Julie Frisella and her husband, Daniel, and Jennifer Parker. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Donald Allen Scheidt.

Graveside services will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 n. Teilman Ave., in Fresno, at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, September 24, 2021, with a reception following.
