To all of the members of Donald Salidin's family  I once again extend my condolences for Donald's death. I so admired him and every member of his family including his dear and wonderful wife. MY prayers continue in thanksgiving for thier lives and for all of the family to know I have never forgottnen your father and mother .Peace be with you everyone. Sister Emily

I am so sad in hearing of the passing of Mr Saladino. He was one of the kindest and generous men I have ever known.  He and his wife, whom he loved very much, were great examples of Christian life. I first met them at St Anthony's parish as a young priest. His words were always encouraging.
May he rest in peace!

I’m saddened yet relieved to learn of Don’s passing.  He leaves a grieving family and many friends.  He had a long life well lived and now can lay down the burden of concerns for them.

I was fortunate to work with Don and Craig as a banker and later a family business consultant in the 1980s and 90’s.  I always enjoyed Don’s quick wit and his old-fashioned courtesy.  His concern and generosity to others was a model and illustration I’ve shared with many other family businesses I served.  Our community benefitted greatly by his presence.

Don’s integrity, however, meant the most to me.  I knew I could trust his word and his explanations about how he did business.  My impression was he passed that on to family and likely others as well.

May he rest in peace and awaken to a glorious life eternal.

Donald was such a big part of my childhood, I have such great memories of both Donald and Anna❤️ They were by far the Kindest people I have known. Donald my Dad has been waiting for you (Pete) take care of each other.

You could not find a better person than Mr. Saladino.
Whenever I connected with him for any reason he was polite courteous and had a great smile.
Fresno is a better place for his giving to the community so generously

Dear Saladino Family,
Watching our Dads grow from young, hard-working men, to grandparents and great-grandparents has truly been a blessing. Don was always ready to go out to lunch, or ride in a golf cart with Dad at charity events. In fact, Dad has a great picture of the two of them riding in a golf cart at one of the tournaments on their refrigerator. 

 Your mom and dad were truly a love story and I know how much he missed her on a daily basis.  Knowing that they are dancing together in heaven makes this loss bittersweet. We are so blessed to have our faith and many wonderful memories to share with our children and grandchildren.
God Bless you all during this difficult time. Know that our love and prayers are with you.

Don was a good man. I mean an ethical, hard-working, strong, intelligent, faithful, caring, good man. 

He always gave me the time of day and made our relationship personal. 

I’ll miss seeing him, and talking about spicy foods and our mutual love of tripe. He has given me a lot to be proud of... a lot of great memories, and a level of excellence for which to strive. 

Give Anne a kiss for me.  May God bless Don Saladino.

Mr. Saladino-as a child,  I remember hearing stories about you from Eddie Romano and when I finally got the chance to meet you it was like meeting a movie star. You always had a warm smile, and would ask me about my mom. You called her “the pistol” and when I ran for DA, having your support was such a blessing! 
I loved watching you at all your great-grandsons school and sporting events and could see the mutual love between you and the boys. It always made my day to see you at drop off with your grandson in the car. 

It was such an honor to know you. 

I hope you are resting peacefully in Heaven with your lovely wife and having a great time telling stories with all your Italian friends.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the entire Saladino family. I had the pleasure of working for and knowing Don over the past 30 yrs. Don was an inspiration and a true role model to me. My daily interactions with him in my early days with Saladinos Foodservice are lasting memories I will cherish forever. I will miss Don, but I know he is holding his beautiful wife Ann's hand up in heaven with a big grin on his face. God Bless the entire family my prayers are with you all during this time of loss.
