Don was born to Marguerite and Charles Frey on November 23, 1934. He was raised in San Diego, Ca. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a loyal employee of Sears for over 30 years. He had a passion for classic cars, enjoyed bar-b-ques and celebrations with his wonderful extended family, and treasured his time with his grandchildren.
An opening in Heaven was made for Don on Friday, August 10, 2012, and all of us will miss his gentle spirit, his quirky sense of humor and most of all his generous heart.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Virginia, of 52 years; his daughters, Desiree Ward and her husband Randy, Monique Markarian and her husband Phillippe; his grandchildren, Melissa, Trevor, Chandlar, Connor and Chase; and two great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E. Saginaw Way in Fresno, on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa St, Fresno, on Friday, August 17, 2012, at 9:00 a.m.
