So sorry for your loss. This is awful, but we will keep his memory alive. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Dan was so admired by all of us in the insurance industry - a true friend of over 40 years - we will all miss you - deep sympathy to all his dear family and friends

The best of memories of a boss that I admired and looked forward to seeing each day.  How often can an employee  say that?  You gave me my first real “insurance job”  and then re-hired me.  I will always be grateful for that opportunity; I'm so glad it was you that presented the opportunity to me.  For any other boss, I would not have been quite so willing  to fetch a cup of morning coffee,  but for you, I was delighted to oblige.  It gave us a chance to have our “morning catch up”.   I recall, a few times you handed me some clairvoyant, and much needed, fatherly advice.   Then, there were always those jokes and the smiles and laughs you so altruistically gave us.  The special days you sent us girls over to the country club to have lunch on you!   Generous and thoughtful.    You, not only provided a happy,  family work atmosphere,  you gave your  knowledge   and expertise  to your clients, and demonstrated what a meticulous work ethic should be.  I admired you for that.   Dan, as one of the best bosses I've ever had, but above all, as my friend, you will be  forever in my heart, forever in my thoughts, and never forgotten.  My deepest sympathies to Margaret and Todd.   Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves memories no one can steal.

Todd, My sincere sympathies go out to you in the loss of your father.  May peace and comfort come to you.  You have always been such a great guy, whom I have enjoyed seeing when I've come to Fresno.  Please take care.  You are loved.  Cousin Stacie in Utah.

Gone but not forgotten! We shared an exhilarating childhood dressing as twins; since we were considered "Irish Twins" being born just eleven months apart. Life together was never dull and we shared some interesting "life lessons" together.  He was the popular one and I the tag-along.  Meticulous and smart with a good sense of humor; he managed to wow those who befriended him. Margaret, of course, was the best thing that ever happened to him, as was Todd his son.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret and Todd as well as their families and friends. Dottie and I regret not being able to attend the funeral.  We will find closure through prayer. Looking forward to visiting Margaret in the not-too-distant future.  Brother Bill & Dottie Andersen

You always gave me a kiss and a hug... But most of all made me laugh.  My mom thought the world of you too... All those Fresno State football trips so well planned out.  I know all the family will remember the good times, your smile, and your charm.  You will be missed Uncle Dan.

Dear Margaret and Family  I am saddened to hear about Dan's death.  I remembered years ago when Steve was racing and we would see Dan and Margaret at the races.  I remembered my son had done a black ink drawing of Stevie and his sprint car.  I took the drawing to Dan and he was extremely nice.  I have been at Dalena/Benik Insurance for 47 years and over the years have been in contact with Dan and have found him to be a very pleasant and friendly gentleman.  Dan over the years was a wonderful person and we have all benefitted in knowing Dan and became a better person in the knowledge of knowing Dan.
