Cory was born on November 06, 1985 to Kathy and Kelly Thompson in French Camp, California
He grew up in the Scotts Valley, Ca area until the age of 12 when his Mother and Step Father moved to Chino Valley Az. He attended Chino Valley High school and had various jobs there. He eventually moved back to Scotts Valley, Ca. where he met the love of his life, his wife Lori. Cory and Lori started their lives together in Scotts Valley but only remained there for a short time. They moved together with their family to Fresno, Ca where they have remained. Fresno is where Cory’s dreams started to become true. He was able to be a stay at home dad during the day and a culinary student at night. He graduated from The Institute of Technology’s culinary program an excellent chef and a definite foodie. Cory’s true passion was his family so he didn’t join the workforce he opted to continue being a wonderful stay at home dad and husband. Cory was a creative and talented young man who touched many lives. He had many friends from all over. Once you met Cory, he made you feel comfortable around him as he spoke about his love of his family, friends, food and of course video games. Cory’s final gifts in this world were his organs. He became an organ donor to help others escape tragedy in case he was not able to himself. With his generous donation he has been able to save the lives of several people and help countless others heal. We are so very proud of the man he had become and will continue to be in our hearts.
