She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gilbert Gonzales, Sr. aka Viejito; brothers and sisters, Jesus Aguilar, Esperanza Torres, Socorro Sierras, Tony Aguilar, Mary Ayala, John Aguilar and Esther Vargas; grandchildren, Anthony Gonzales and Connie Amador; great grandchildren, Paulina Barrera and Leo Ortega.
She leaves behind her daughters, Rachel McCullum and her husband Frederick, Sandra Alvarez and her husband Julio, And Debbie Lozano and her husband Noel; son, Gilbert Gonzales Jr. and his wife Diana; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Our hearts are broken but at the same time we are so happy and blessed that she passed the way she wanted, peacefully in her sleep.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
