Growing up in rural Kansas, Cliff attended school in a one room school house and began working on the family farm at an early age. In 1946, his family moved to the Fresno area, where he graduated from Central High School in 1947. He served in the United States Army as a company clerk during the Korean Conflict, and was a valued employee for Rodman Chevrolet; Electrical Suppliers; and Consolidated Electric.
Cliff loved cars, motor sports, wood working, and getting a good deal. He was a skilled craftsman with the ability to build, repair, construct, assemble, or create almost anything. He had a large circle of friends who will remember him for his generosity, integrity, and sense of humor.
Cliff is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Charlotte.
He is survived by his daughters, Becky Parrott and her husband, Bill, and Carolyn Gaebel and her husband, David; grandsons, William Parrott, Matthew Parrott, and Jackson Gaebel.
A Celebration of Cliff's Life will be held at University Presbyterian Church, 1776 E. Roberts in Fresno, CA, on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 4:30p.m.
