Charles was welcomed into this world by his mother, Eunice and his father, Frank on May 8, 1933 in Fresno. He was the third out of seven children.
After graduation from Clovis High School, He proudly served four years in the United States Air Force Post Korean era where he learned to cook for everyone including colonels.
In 1957 while on leave he met Maggie Gowen while roller skating with family. About two years, they were married and moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he was stationed. Later on, they moved back to Fresno to start a family.
After serving, he worked for Swift & Company Turkey Hatchery for eleven years until he was blessed with working for Clovis Unified School District for 27 years.
After many years of hard work, both Charles and Maggie enjoyed 27 years of retirement by traveling 46 states mostly by motor home, plus cruises to Alaska and Hawaii.
Even though Charles was a quiet man, he led by example. He was a faithful Charter Member of Woodward Park Church of Christ. He dedicated his Christian life to humbly serving others with his talent of cooking, cleaning, or whatever was asked of him.
He was preceded in heaven by his father, mother, three brothers, Harold, Stanley, Ray and one sister, Mildred McCoy.
