Charles was born in St. Louis to Nathan and Ellen Berwin on December 4th, 1944. He was in the Navy on a aircraft carrier during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was in the Navy for four years. He received a high school equivalent diploma while in the Navy. He was a Lithographer for many years. He was also a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed reading books. He enjoyed talking about health,politics,family. Family was everything to him.
Charles was preceded in death by his Father, Nathan Berwin. His mother Ellen Berwin. His sisters, Jeanine Youngblood and Jo Ellen Whalen. His sister in law Nancy Berwin and his brother in law Frank Fiore. His brother in law John Whalen.
Charles is survived by his Son Michael Berwin and his wife Christina Gemeinhardt Berwin. Their two daughters, Emma Berwin and Ava Berwin. His son Randy Berwin. His daughter Kristina Berwin. Briana Sopshire, his honary granddaughter. His brother, David Berwin Sr and his children. David Berwin Jr. and his wife Janice Berwin their son Noah. Sarah Berwin and her husband Bryan Ray and their children, Nathan, Gia, and Briana Ray. Elizabeth Berwin his neice. His brother, Kevin Berwin and his wife, Dru Thomas. His brother, Jerry Berwin. His brother,Tim Berwin and his wife Donna Berwin. His sister, Mary Anne O’Gorman her husband David O’Gorman and their son David O’Gorman Jr. His sister Kathleen Gregory and her husband Richard Gregory. Their two children his nephew, Kevin Gregory, Susan Gregory TeStroete and her husband Mark and their children, Henry,Graham, and Isaac TeStroete. His sister, Marion Fiore, her son Frankie Fiore and his wife Lorraine Fiore. His sister, Patricia Deppen and her husband Robert Deppen, their children Ray Deppen and Tim Deppen and his wife Neshana. His Aunt Joan Church. Along with a multitude of cousins. Charles, loved and was loved by many friends and extended family.

Charles, was a amazing son,father,brother and friend. He loved to joke and laugh. His laughter was infectious. He will be sorely missed by many.
