Catherine Moffett was born in Fresno, CA, where she lived the majority of her life. She married Jack Allen, who was both her hero and husband for more than 50 years. They were blessed with five children, but it was the children who were blessed with the finest parents one could ever hope for. Kit's family was her life, and for that her husband, children, siblings, nieces, nephews and grandchildren are eternally grateful. She will be missed, but live on in our hearts forever.
Kit was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; as well as her brothers, Bill Moffett and John Moffett; and her sister, Lissie Ohlberg.
Kit is survived by her daughters, Patti and Holly Allen; sons, Steve, Bill and his wife Becky, and Dan and his wife Mary; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, JoAnne Glaves; brother, Richard Moffett; and 16 nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
