Born Carolyn Ann Priolo, Carolyn walked through her life perpetually demonstrating strength, wisdom, grace, elegance, beauty and unconditional love in all the roles of her life. Born in San Francisco, Carolyn was the proud daughter of John and Anna Priolo. She graduated from Balboa High School, then, married Nicola Troiani in 1951.
The display of love, acceptance and a true union of two; their marriage was a beacon of life partnership. They met every life struggle with grace, strength and triumph through all their fifty-three years together in marriage.
From Nick and Carol's restaurateur partnership at O'Sole Mio in 1962 to the establishment of Nicola's in 1972, as Fresno's premiere fine dining restaurant.
She will continue in spirit to steward the love, future success, and lives of new generations.
Those that count their most dear blessings are sons, Nicholas and Richard Troiani; grandchildren, Giancarlo, Marco and Isabella Troiani; great-grand- son, Tommy Troiani; sister, Jean Moscone; sister-in-laws, Rose Salvato and Adrian Priolo; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
