

In 1954 upon completion of high school in El Monte, CA, he enlisted in the United States Army and served as a paratrooper. After being honorably discharged, he enrolled in college and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Los Angeles. It was during this time that he rekindled his romance with high school sweetheart, Avis Domine. They were married in 1962, and had four children.
Brian's working life was spent in the trucking industry, and in 1975, he moved to Fresno, CA, with his family to become owner of a truck dealership. He was a Paul Harris member of the Downtown Rotary Club and also volunteered with school, civic, and volunteer organizations.
He enjoyed singing and was a member of the Fresno Gold Note Barbershop Chorus for many years. He sang the bass part in the quartet "Atonic Explosion".
Brian is survived by Avis, his wife of 54 years; his four children, Laurene Cox, Scott Morse, Chris Morse, and Stephanie Henry; their spouses; seven grandchildren; as well as his brother Harley; sister Martha; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the North Fresno Church, 5724 N. Fresno St., Fresno, CA, on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the donors favorite charity.
