Bobby Stanley Pfister

Bob was born in Fresno, California on November 17, 1927, and passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014, at the age of 86. He was a letter carrier in Fresno for 30 years and served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by Jerry, his loving wife of 58 years; his brothers, John Pfister, David Pfister, Hank Pfister and Gottlicb Pfister; and sisters, Erma Bruce, Dorothy White and Millie Mc Neeley.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Debra Menchu and her husband Lance of Round Rock, TX, and Nancy Gentile and her husband Robert of Clovis, CA; grandsons, Alex Menchu and his wife Danielle of Austin, TX, and Robert Menchu of Round Rock, TX; sisters, Ruth Robinson of Emmett, ID, and Betty Ruyle and her husband Charles of Fresno, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. In- terment to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
