Born in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico on September 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Porfirio and Maria Gomez.
Beatrice will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by her surviving family, brother, Robert Gomez; her four sisters, Hortencia Flores, Connie Granados, Mary Lou Alvarez and Bertha Rios; her five children, Gilbert Gonzalez, Mary Toscano, Alice Smith, Arthur and Andrew Gonzalez; as well as her 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
