Amelia De La Garza Jimenez

Amelia was a homemaker, loving mother, grandma, "nana", and "gg". Her love of gardening and generous heart will forever be remembered.

Amelia is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jose E. Jimenez; her children, Deanna Carrillo and husband Carlos of Colorado Springs, CO, Jose A. Jimenez and his wife Rosie, Lawrence Jimenez, and Jeanette Zamorano and her husband John Tirzo, all from Fresno; four grandchildren; two great

grandchildren; brothers, Tiberio and Ramon Dela Garza; sisters, Maria and Guadalupe Dela Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home on Monday, June 18, 2018, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Belmont Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any remembrances be donated in Amelia's memory to Hinds
