After ten years in snowy and cold Minnesota and North Dakota Alison happily spent the rest of her life in Central and Southern California where she could be warm and visit the ocean as often as possible. She majored in design and production arts and was a skilled administrative and secretarial assistant. She worked for the City of Fresno for 28+ years.
With an artist’s eye for color, creative sewing skills, a passion for shopping, and a love of jewelry, she enjoyed dressing up, especially for cruises, travel, trips to Disneyland, and time with her dear friend, Dave Bambacigno. She shared her talent by teaching others creative projects from cookie decorating to jewelry making. Christmas and Halloween were favorites, with exquisite decorations and holiday table settings, thoughtfully selected gifts, and the best wrapped presents.
Survivors include siblings Teresa Peterson (Dale) , Daniel Bosch (Jane), and Karen Bosch Cobb (Michael); 2 nieces and 4 nephews; and 8 great nieces and nephews. The family gratefully thanks loving friends, especially those who supported Alison in her last years.
A Celebration of Alison’s life will be held at a later date.
