Alexa’s life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her infectious smile, her contagious laugh, and baby soft skin were reminded of the preciousness of life, as she looked at you through her long beautiful eyelashes. She gave such courage and hope in her very memorable 26 months of life.
She was a constant miracle and inspiration to the many wonderful Doctors, Nurses, and Respiratory Therapists at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and Children’s Recovery Center of Northern California, who gave their hearts and souls to Alexa with no limitations and became part of her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her parents Spero and Lauren, Grandparents Athanasios and Pagona Stefanopoulos, Lynn and Debbie White, and Jerry W. Landers; Aunt Elena Stefanopoulos, Uncle Dionysos Stefanopoulos, Aunt Erin Ellis and Uncle Patrick Ellis, Aunt Kristen Maroot-Rippee and Uncle Scott Rippee; Cousins Ava Stefanopoulos, Aydon Stefanopoulos, McCarthy Ellis, Macie Ellis, Sydney Maroot, and Carson Rippee.
In Alexa’s memory, donations can be made to The Medically Fragile Children’s Foundation of Northern California (MFCFNC.org) or The St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 2219 North Orchard Street, Fresno, CA 93703.
