Albert was born on Jan. 5, 1938 and passed away in Fresno on Feb. 10, 2012 at the age of 74.
He was born in Fresno, graduated from Edison High School and attended Fresno City College. He worked as an auto mechanic for over 40 years and retired from the Air National Guard after 27 years of service to his country. He was a founding member and loyal supporter of the Ballet Folklorico Y Marimba de Fresno for over 35 years.
Albert is preceded in death by his mother, Esther ; brother Fernie and sister, Margie Bridges.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, the love of his life, Helen; sons Albert and his wife, Leslie, Michael and his wife, Connie, Fred and his wife, Janie; grandchildren Jennifer Rodriguez, Chris Flores, Andrea Flores, Phillip, Fred Flores II, Roman Flores, Seven Flores and Klaudia Gonzales; great grandchildren Carlos, Vincent and Marcelo Rodriguez, Sophia Flores; and sisters Pauline Martinez and Carmen Madero.
Visitation will be held at the Lisle Funeral Home on Wed., Feb. 15, 2012 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 PM.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Cathedral on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012 at 9 AM, with burial to follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
