Lena was born in Fresno, Ca on April 5, 1932. She passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
Lena worked 10 years at both the Roma Winery and Fresno Hilton Hotel. She was also a caregiver.
Lena loved to dance and she enjoyed working at the Fresno Swap Meet for many years.
The family would like to thank Horizon Health for their wonderful care.
Lena is survived by her son, Ronald Lopez from Clovis; her brother, Tony Vela of Fresno; her sisters, Cora and Rosa Vela of Fresno, Emily Palacios and her brother-in-law, Aurelio Palacios from Fresno; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
