Wallace F. Haff, 92, of Fremont died Tuesday evening, April 3, 2012 at Fremont Memorial Hospital. Wally was born on April 9, 1919 in Townsend Township to Avery and Margaret (Devanna) Haff. He was a graduate of Towsend High School. Wally worked at his fathers farm until he joined the Army during WWII and was stationed in the Alution Island (Alaska) and Fort Knox, KY. Upon his return from the service Wally worked for Howard Zink’s, Detroit Gasket, Saddleman Corp, and the 818 Club. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the V.F.W.
Wally is survived by his three sons: James (Judy) Haff of Newark, OH; Thomas (Julie) Haff of Fort Wayne, IN; John (Carol) Haff of Augusta, GA; granddaughters: Lori Daveggio, Lisa Grosse, Kristen Haff; step-children: Jeannie (Bruce) Bilger of Fremont, OH; Carmine (Pam) Perna of Delaware, OH; Robert (Debra) Frankart of Columbus, OH; Chris-Ann (Randy) Johnson of Columbus, OH. He was preceded in death by his wives, Naomi Frankart Haff and Elizabeth (Aggie) Perna Haff and sister, Elizabeth Loewe.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday, April 6, 2012 from 12:00 P.M.-3:00P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to: The V.F.W Post #2947
