Roberta Ann Taylor, 76 of Fremont, died Tuesday morning, February 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 6, 1936 in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of Robert and Ernestine (Whited) Daniell. Roberta was a graduate of Wirt Co. High School in Elizabeth, WV and went on to attend Mountain State Business College. On December 24, 1954 she married Ray Taylor. Mrs. Taylor worked as a secretary for Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce, Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce and worked as a realtor.
Roberta enjoyed water skiing, boating, bowling and traveling the country with friends from their RV group. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and worked with the youth group. Mrs. Taylor was 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving is her husband of 58 years, Ray Taylor of Fremont, OH, daughters, Dr. Susan Taylor of Sacramento, CA and Jennifer Taylor of Fremont, OH and her sister, Sharon (Gene) Gangloff of Belpry, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Daniell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00A.M. from Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio with Pastor H. Kearns officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date at Four Mile House Cemetery in Fremont, OH.
