Carol A. Turner, 61, of Fremont, died Wednesday evening September 7, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born August 10, 1955 in Fremont, the daughter of Gene “Smiley” and Joan (Walker) Price. Carol was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and went on to work as a bartender at “Christie’s” while living in Texas. Upon her return she worked locally at the Log Cabin, Wagner’s Country Inn, Fremont Country Club, Fremont Moose and Winesburg Inn as a waitress.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing Karaoke and was a hard working woman who always put others before herself.
Surviving is her husband John Turner of Fremont, OH; daughter Dawn (Manuel) Ortega of Clyde, OH; sons Shane (Melissa) Turner and Cheyenne (Wendy) Turner both of Fremont; OH; grandson Logan “Maverick” Turner, 16 grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; siblings: Janet (Allan Glick) Price, Gina (Roger) Fausey, Tim (Lori) Price, Tony (Liz) Price, Chris (Julie) Price. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2-4 &6-8P.M. at Keller –Koch- Chudzinski Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, OH. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30A.M. at the funeral home on Monday, September 12, 2016 with Pastor Scott Kirsch officiating. Burial will follow at McGormley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
