Virgil Davis

He was born on May 13, 1951 in Risner, Kentucky to Newton and Sina (Ousley) Davis.

Virgil married Sheryl (Seitz) Bell on September 1, 2009 in Angola, Indiana.

He enjoyed fishing with Dad when he was younger, going for car rides in the country with Sheryl, and watching his Western Movies and Shows.

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Davis of Angola, Indiana, son, David Presley of Fort Wayne, Indiana, four grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Caleb, and Chloe, 1 great-grandson, step-children, Rebecca Salmon, Tamara Castellano, both of Angola, New York, and Nathaniel Newbury of Buffalo, New York, thirteen step-grandchildren, 1 step-great-grandson, sister, Sylvia Schneider of Kendallville, Indiana, and brothers, Burchel Davis, and James Davis both of Edgerton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Sina Davis, a daughter, Melissa Monchilov, and three sisters, Mona Ewalt, Nelva Hawks, and Louise Dyer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Monday, June 3, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Evangelist Scott Saltsman will officiate the service.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 am until 11 am Monday at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Burial will follow the service at Sedan Cemetery, Auburn, Indiana.

Memorial donations may be directed in care of the family.
