He was born on March 2, 1954 in Goshen, Indiana. He was a 1972 graduate of Prairie Heights High School.
Terry worked for Dana Weatherhead in Angola, and later near Middlebury in the RV Industry. He had been a member of Fairview Missionary Church and Restoration Ministries (formerly known as Lake Missionary Church).
He married Pamela Schaeffer on March 1, 1986 in Angola, Indiana.
Terry enjoyed helping out on the farm and most recently loved being a part of the Antique Tractor Club. He also enjoyed working with his hands and fixing things when he wasn't watching IU Basketball. Through the years he played lots of sports, including softball, and enjoyed fishing- especially a fly in fishing trip he took with his son , Lance, in Canada. Terry enjoyed his grandkids and was so proud of them and loved watching their activities.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Witham of Hudson, Indiana, children, Lance (Stephanie) Witham of Flat Rock, Michigan, Stacy (Chris) Dobson of Frankfort, Illinois. Brian (Megan) Teegardin of Oxford, Michigan, grandchildren, Robert Dobson, Sean Dobson, Benjamin Beutler, Riley Witham, Nicholas Beutler, Anthony Teegardin, Sarah Teegardin, and Presley Witham, brother Nick (Bonnie) Witham, sisters , Bobbi Jo (Ron) Alford and Paula (Vernon) Hochstetler, sister-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Depue, brother-in-law, Tom Bevins, Special Mom, Patricia Rigg of Angola, Indiana, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Edward Witham, Sr. and Donnabelle (Lauer) Witham, and siblings, Marsha Stewart, Connie Majors, Drema Witham, John Witham, JR, Diann Witham, Cindy Barrand, and Leann O'Quinn.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana. Rev. Lance Witham will officiate the service.
Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Indiana.
Memorial donations in Terry's memory may be directed in care of the family.
