Steven Lee Carr, age 71, of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
He was born on January 17, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Virgil L. and Helen A. (Sievers) Carr.
Steve graduated from Snider High School, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1970. After high school he served in the Indiana Air National Guard, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Steve was the former owner of the Speedway Dairy Queen on Lima Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He later worked for Tokheim Corporation in Fremont, Indiana, and then Trinity Home Design Center, New Haven, Indiana.
Steve was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr., and NASCAR. He was a cat lover and enjoyed the lake life.
He married Toni (Garrison) on October 3, 1990 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife, Toni Carr of Snow Lake, Fremont, Indiana, children, Jason Carr of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jenn Carr of Vancouver, Washington, Bryan Stiebeling, and Chad Stiebeling, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana, grandchildren, Marcus Carr, Orlando Carr, Jamison Stiebeling, and Isaac Stiebeling, brothers, Michael (Leslie) Carr of Big Otter Lake, Fremont, Indiana, and Daniel (Brenda) Carr of Fort Wayne, Indiana, sisters, LeAnn (Randal) Clemens of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Sally (Gary) Ware of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Helen Carr.
Private family services and burial will be held at Concordia Gardens Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Memorial donations in his memory may be directed to the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County, P.O. Box 204, Angola, Indiana 46703.
