Sharon Kay Hess

She was born on February 14, 1948 in Angola, Indiana, the daughter of William and Goldie (Malone) Randol.

Sharon graduated from Angola High School. She attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola. She formerly worked at Hook’s Drug Store, and also as a flight attendant for US Air, and as a nurse’s aide for St. Joseph Medical Center.

She enjoyed gardening, boating, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She married Peter Gregory Hess on November 6, 1971 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Angola, Indiana.

Survivors include her sons, Matthew (Kristi) Hess of Tucson, Arizona, and Mickey Hess of Fremont, Indiana, a granddaughter, Evey Nicole Hess of Tucson, Arizona, leaves behind many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Peter Hess, on March 12, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 700 West Toledo Street, Angola, Indiana, with Father Bernard Zajdel officiating.

Burial will follow services at Greenlawn Cemetery in Orland, Indiana

Memorials in her memory may be made to the family.
