Ronald Leslie Roberts

Ron was born on May 15, 1943 in Robinson, Illinois.

He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and later from West Illinois University in MaComb, Illinois. He served our Country in the United States Army.

Ron married Bonnie Jean Taylor and she survives.

He retired from RR Donnelly (Moore Business Forms) in Angola, Indiana, and worked part-time for Meijer in Angola.

Ron attended Gateway Church in Angola, Indiana, and was a Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Roberts of Fremont, Indiana, three sons and daughter-in-laws, Paul (Tonia) Roberts of Coltsneck, New Jersey, David (Amy) Roberts of Adrian Michigan, and John (Heidi) Roberts of North Canton, Ohio, nine grandchildren, sisters, Karen Hallman, and Peggy (Bobby) Ison, and a brother, Gary Roberts.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Roberts, and Betty (Seifer) Roberts Wallace, and an infant sister, Sherry.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8 pm Friday, September 6, 2019 at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Beams Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Baker officiating.

Burial will follow the services at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Military Honors will be conducted by members of the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257 Color Guard.
