Born at home in Fremont, Indiana, she lived her entire life in Steuben County, a beloved community member.
After graduating from Fremont High School in 1960, she married Bill Noyes, celebrating 63 years of marriage.
After raising her three children, she completed a degree in Early Childhood Education, teaching at Fremont Preschool and Headstart, where she loved generations of children.
Active in Fremont Historical Society, Fremont United Methodist Church, and Merry Mixers Homemakers Club, she generously shared her talents.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and traveling, but most of all loved time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel Huss and Ella Huss Foster; and sisters, Jean Huss and Barbara Hanna.
She is survived by siblings, Larry Huss, David (Randy) Huss, Robin Hissey; husband, William Noyes; children, Allan (Kathy) Noyes, Juliana (Rob) Cerra and Brad (Jill) Noyes; grandchildren, Adam (Lauren) Noyes, Jacob (Stephanie) Noyes, Peter Smith, Matthew (Summer) Noyes, Ryan (Dev) Noyes, Rebecca (Andrew) Wong and Adeline Noyes; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Fremont Methodist Church, on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 2 p.m., followed by a gathering in the fellowship hall.
Donations may be made to Lakeside Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 247, Fremont, Indiana, in lieu of flowers.
