Michael David Young

He was born on November 24, 1963 in Angola, Indiana.

He graduated from Prairie Heights High School.

Michael was a construction worker for most of his life. He loved fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his grandkids.

Survivors include his sons, Cody Young of Ashley, Indiana and Chris Young of Hudson, Indiana, seven grandchildren, Weston, Waylon, Amiyah, Hazelee, Tythan, Colston and Ryla his father, James (Virginia) Young, Sr. of Coldwater, Michigan, brothers, David Young of Orland, Indiana and James (Cyndi) Young of Angola, Indiana, several nieces and nephews, and his best friend, "Boy" his dog.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia (Flynn) Boots, and a sister, Deborah Butler.

A Celebration of Life for Michael David Young and his sister, Deborah Kay Butler will be on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 5 pm until 7 pm at the Fremont American Legion Cassel Post # 257.
