Linda Ann Diehl, age 57, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt passed away, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at her home in Angola, Indiana. She was born in Georgia on July 6, 1957, to Earl Charles and Betty Jane (Rowles) Diehl. She was a longtime employee of Holiday Inn in Angola, Indiana where she worked for 20 years. She was also a longtime employee of QC Onics for 14 years. She was employed by IMP in Angola for nine years before she passed away. Ms. Diehl graduated from Fremont High School and attended Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana. She had high hopes and dreams of becoming a teacher, for she loved children very much. She was the backbone and strength of her family, always putting them before herself. She enjoyed reading, but anytime there was an opportunity to be with family and friends, her books were put aside. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Charles Diehl and her brother, Earl William Diehl. Surviving are her mother, Betty Jane Diehl of Angola, Indiana, three sisters, Pam (Jim) Detrich of State College, Pennsylvania, Bonnie (Walter) Williams of Angola, Indiana, and Karen (Roger) Weimer of Fremont, Indiana, two brothers, Gary and Larry Diehl of Fremont, Indiana, three nephews, Milan Towers of Edon, Ohio, Blane Diehl of LaGrange, Indiana and Luke Diehl of Florida, two nieces, Wendy (Michael) Green of Edgerton, Ohio and Brianna Diehl of Fremont, Indiana, along with six great nephews and two great nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday, September 1, 2014, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Indiana, with Milan Towers officiating. There will also be two hours of visitation prior to the services from 12:00 noon until 2 pm Monday, at the funeral home. Graveside committal services will be held at a later time at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont, Indiana. Memorials are requested to the family.
