He was born on August 3, 1937 in Ray, Michigan, the son of Frank and Dora (Heroy) Miner, they preceded him in death.
Larry attended the Ray, and Montgomery schools, and graduated from Coldwater High School.
He married Pearl L. Church on January 31, 1959 at Stokes Chapel United Methodist Church.
Larry was a lifetime farmer, and worked for Amoco Oil Company, in Girard, Michigan, for many years, and served as a truck driver, dispatcher, and later as terminal manager.
He attended Stokes Chapel United Methodist Church, he loved to farm, and especially enjoyed spending time riding his gator with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Miner of Montgomery, Michigan, children, Greg Miner of Battle Creek, Michigan, Linda (Larry) Rubingh of Jackson, Michigan, and Bob (Kathy) Miner of Montgomery, Michigan, four grandchildren, Travis Rubingh and fiancée, Melissa, Sydney Rubingh, Victoria Miner, and Adam Miner, a sister, Mary Clifford of Coldwater, Michigan, and a brother, Randy Miner of Coldwater, Michigan.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Beams Funeral Home, with Pastor Phred Cain and Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating.
Burial will be at California Cemetery at a later time.
Memorial donations in his memory are requested to Stokes Chapel United Methodist Church.
