Judith Helen Koehler

Judith Koehler, 75, of Angola, IN passed away on June 16, 2022, at Parkview Memorial Hospital (Ft. Wayne) with family at her side. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 30, 1947, to Charles and Alethea Swanson; they preceded her in death. She graduated from Luther South H.S. and attended Valparaiso University. She was married to Rick Koehler on July 8, 1967, and lived in Illinois, Indiana and recently spent winters in Florida.

Judy enjoyed a long tenure as a sales consultant in Illinois and many of her customers became longtime friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed golfing, walking and living on the lake in Indiana. She was the only one in the family to have TWO hole-in-ones on the golf course – an accomplishment often wielded to keep the men in the family at bay.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Koehler of Lake James, Angola, Indiana, sons, Scott (Johanna) Koehler of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and Todd Koehler of Oswego, Illinois, five grandchildren (Delanie, Madelyn, Kamden, Grace, Alex) and two sisters (Cheryl and Marjorie).

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
