He was born Dec. 1, 1951, in Angola, to Ralph and Sally (Anspaugh) Wilcox and they preceded him in death.
Mr. Wilcox retired after 20 years of service at Weatherhead, Angola, Indiana.
He was a 1969 graduate of Angola High School. He was a United States Army Vietnam War veteran. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Corunna.
He enjoyed passing the time visiting coffee shops.
Surviving are two sons, Jamie and Angela Wilcox of Dayton, Ohio, and Heath Wilcox of Angola; nine grandchildren, MacKenzie, Ben, Haley, Gavin, Jade, Sam, Matthew, Payton and Kayla; and one sister, Jane Burdick of Ruskin, Florida.
A memorial service will take place Friday, November 15, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with Pastor Craig Johnson from the Nevada Mills United Methodist Church officiating. Military honors will be conducted by members of the Orland American Legion Post 423.
Calling will be one hour prior to services, from 2-3 p.m. Friday, at the Beams Funeral Home.
