She started at the plant on machines, then progressed to forklift driver, Quality Control Inspector, retiring as an Assistant Quality Control Manager. Along the way she met John Gould, married him, shot traps, collected guns and knives, and enjoyed their 22 years together before John’s passing 2009.
After retirement, Carol enjoyed trap shooting, collecting guns and knives with her husband John Gould, and spending time with her extended sons Fred, Ron, and Bill. Carol and John travelled the tri-State area and further afar dusting clay pigeons and spotting good antique gun and knives for sale along the way. She was the Handicap Lady Champion at the 2010 ATA National Trap shooting Day.
Carol had a passion for all animals, always with a collection of (horses) dogs and cats owning her home. She was an amazing cook and baker and made many wonderful family dinners over the years.
